The4-partdramatellsthestoryofamarriedcouple:Robert(ChristopherEccleston)aformerdetectiveandKaty(MarshaThomason)ateacherwhoareaskedbyclosefriendandpoliceofficerMark(PatersonJoseph),toturntheirremoteGuestHouseintoaSafeHouse.
Theirfirst‘guests’attheSafeHouse,areafamilyinfearoftheirlivesaftertheyareviolentlyattackedbysomeonewhoclaimstoknowthem.ForRobertprotectingthefamilyresurrectsfearsandanxietiesboundupinaterrifyingnighteighteenmonthsago-wherehewasprotectingastarwitnesswhowasabouttotestifyagainstherganglandhusband.Unexpectedly,hewasshot,andshewaskilled.AsaconsequenceofrunningtheSafeHouse,Robertre-questionsthisincidentanduncoversaweboflies.
